A lightweight, real-time desktop dashboard for Windows that surfaces everything (well, a lot of useful things
anyway 😉)
happening inside your machine — CPU cores, thermals, memory pressure,
disk health, GPU vitals, network throughput, Bluetooth devices, and more —
all in one clean, always-on panel.

Hardware varies
CPU Monitoring
Per-core usage and live clock speeds alongside ACPI thermal zone temperatures. Detects
logical & physical core counts, cache topology, NUMA nodes, and base clock.

Memory & Paging
Live RAM consumption, commit charge percentage, page-file usage, and hard page-fault rate.
Pressure indicators highlight when the system begins swapping to disk.

GPU & Thermals
Temperature, fan RPM, and power draw, if supported by the vendor and their driver.
Also tracks 3D engine utilisation and VRAM consumption in real time.
Some iGPUs and certain discrete GPUs report only temperature or nothing at all.

Disk Health & I/O
Per-drive read/write throughput and busy percentage. S.M.A.R.T. health
status and drive temperature. Availability varies by drive type — most SATA drives are supported;
NVMe support depends on the drive and driver, and some USB enclosures may not expose S.M.A.R.T. at all.

Network
Per-adapter Rx/Tx throughput with live sparklines, link speed, IPv4 & IPv6 addresses,
and TCP retransmit rate.

System Information
CPU brand, vendor, and ISA support flags (SSE, AVX, AVX-512, AES-NI, SHA, FMA,
BMI…). Motherboard make/model and BIOS version alongside all installed GPU adapters with driver versions
and VRAM.

Battery & Uptime
Charge level, chemistry, design capacity, and current charge rate for laptops. On desktops
without a battery the tile will show system uptime instead.

Some features depend on your hardware and Windows version.
MetSIDash detects what’s available at startup and silently hides anything your system doesn’t support.
CPU temperature — requires ACPI thermal zones in your firmware; common on laptops,
often absent on desktops.
Fan speed and power draw depend on what each vendor exposes through their
WDDM driver — some iGPUs and certain discrete GPUs report only temperature, or nothing at all.
Bluetooth — requires a Bluetooth radio adapter
Battery — laptop/UPS only; desktop systems automatically show system uptime in its
place.
S.M.A.R.T. disk health — drive-dependent; most SATA/SAS drives report full data, NVMe
support varies by drive and driver, and some USB enclosures may not expose S.M.A.R.T. at all.
Built for Windows, no extras required
Zero Driver Dependencies
MetSIDash runs straight out of the box — no extra software, runtimes, or
vendor packages to install. Everything it needs is already part of Windows.
Compact Overlay Mode
Switch to a minimal always-on-top overlay that keeps key vitals visible while you game or
work, without taking up your full screen.
Diagnostic Logger
Timestamped log file written on every session. Records a full system-metrics snapshot at
startup for easy troubleshooting.
